1. Gauze Compression
Keep gauze firmly in place for 2 hours after surgery,
and swallow any saliva or blood that may be unpleasant.
2. No Straws & Nose Care
Do not use a straw to drink beverages.
You may experience nosebleeds after surgery,
so please do not blow your nose.
3. Rest on Surgery Day
Avoid intense exercise, saunas, and alcohol consumption
on the day of surgery, and get plenty of rest.
4. Ice Pack Management
Manage swelling with ice packs.
Cold compress on the surgical area within 24 hours
helps reduce swelling and pain.
5. Diet Restrictions
Avoid spicy, salty, and hot foods.
Eat soft, non-irritating foods
and chew on the opposite side.
6. Oral Care (Surgery Day)
Avoid brushing the surgical area
on the day of surgery.
7. Oral Rinse (Next Day)
Use the prescribed oral rinse
starting the next day.
8. No Smoking or Alcohol
Smoking and alcohol interfere with wound healing
and increase infection risk,
so please avoid them for at least one week.
9. Medication
Take the prescribed medication for 3 days
even if you don't feel pain,
as it helps prevent inflammation.
