1. Temporary pain or discomfort
You may experience mild pain or discomfort for a day or two after treatment.
This is a normal part of the healing process and should gradually improve on its own.
2. Severe inflammation
The treated tooth may feel painful, swollen, or warm to the touch.
If discomfort persists even after taking over-the-counter pain medication,
please contact our office.
3. Chewing precautions
Please avoid chewing on the treated side.
Stick to soft, non-irritating foods.
The tooth may be weakened, so take care not to crack or break it.
4. Temporary filling care
The temporary filling may come loose or fall out.
If only a small portion is missing, itโs usually not a concern.
If the entire filling is lost, please visit our office for evaluation.
5. Take Your Medication
Please make sure to take all the medication we've given you.
If you experience severe side effects from the medication,
please contact the hospital.
5. Complete the treatment
Even if pain goes away, do not stop treatment early.
Incomplete treatment may lead to complications or failure.
Be sure to attend all scheduled visits.
